What does a successful Application Analyst do at Fiserv?

As an Application Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure and efficient transfer of data between internal and external systems. You will be responsible for managing file transfer processes, implementing protocols, monitoring performance, and addressing any issues that arise.

What you will do:

• Develop and/or maintain moderately complex to complex software components of the business application system utilizing available developer tools. 
• Support the IBM software components that comprise the NEST file transfer system, including monitoring for software upgrades, installing software upgrades, and troubleshooting file transfer issues with the IBM software.
• Develop file transfer solutions to support the needs of our internal and external clients.
• Resolve vulnerabilities related to the NEST file transfer system.
• Interface with the technical support teams to ensure NEST operating normally.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
• Must be a US Citizen
• 5+ years of software application development experience.
• Experience with file transfers concepts, including SFTP, encryption, decryption, firewalls, load balancing, and certificates.
• Strong experience with storage and retrieval of information in databases and other indexed storage methods

What would be great to have:

• Strong experience with concepts, philosophies, and tools behind the design of applications.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio
• Experience with using a formalized software development lifecycle methodology.
