What does a great Sr. Manager, Product Strategist do?
This is an exciting and ambitious role to lead and develop key products within the STAR Network product organization.  You will be responsible for driving changes to accelerate growth for Debit product acceptance, including expansion of enhanced solutions to assist STAR Members and Processors manage their debit card portfolio and back-office services.  Working closely with Internal and External clients, Technology teams, Operations, and Sales, you will be involved in the conception of new features through agile software development, product commercialization, and operational readiness to ensure successful execution of changes and product penetration.

As a Sr. Manager, Product Strategist, you can expect to:
• Drive product deployment and commercialization tasks to increase acceptance, volume, and revenue for the STAR Network.
• Use market research, product metrics, and customer experience feedback in supporting new features and optimize product success.
• Work closely with technology teams to build new products as well as enhancements / new features to existing products, including refinement of product requirements, user experience stories, testing oversight, and production validation approval.
• Partner with sales and business development teams on new prospects and deals to increase volume and maintain key relationships with Financial Institutions, Acquirers (ATM and POS), and ATM ISOs.
• Product collateral creation including definition of features, value proposition to promote new products.
• Collaborate with Network pricing and sales teams to develop incentives for product adoption and ensure pricing for new products is in line with revenue strategies.
• Evaluate existing products and establish a strategy and execution plan to retire products or migrate to go-forward products as part of network integration.
• Promote STAR Network product opportunities at local, regional, and enterprise tradeshows and conferences.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • 6+ years of increasingly accountable roles in product management, product development, and/or payment strategy position.

  • Significant experience in the EFT industry supporting debit acceptance operational and/or product-related roles.

  • Prior experience supporting the rollout of new payment products including experience driving product commercialization with complex product portfolios and executing globally in a fast-paced environment.

  • Web services and/or client portal product or technical experience desire

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent with applicable experience required.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred

  • Innovative and creative thinking with a desire develop new solutions and maintain and promote existing products.

  • Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects to a deadline in a cross-functional team environment.
