Job Posting Title:  Sr. Financial Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis)

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded senior financial analyst to join our finance team. The role expectation is assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership.

As a senior financial analyst, you will also be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes.

What will you do (Key Responsibilities):

• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
• Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
• Understanding key business drivers.
• Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
• Developing financial projections and building financial models.
• Performing research and analysis as required.
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
• Managing fire drills and adhoc requirements of leadership.
• Month end close process in partnership with local accounting teams.
• AR/collections management.

What will you need to know:    

Fintech Industry experience with “Issuing and Acquiring” is preferred.

What would be great to have (Key Skills Requirement):

• Highly proficient at working with multiple data sets and be sharp with numbers.
• Affinity and strong grasp on systems (Company uses SAP), Oracle and MS office tools.
• A detail oriented and analytical thought process.
• Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA in Finance
• 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a multi-product business environment.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams on-site/off-site and help drive both analysis and execution.
• Expected to have a strong commercial sense and understanding of the Operating cost levers of the business.
• Should have good understanding of the Fintech Industry processes, revenue leavers, cost items and ability to drive efficiencies in the business.
• Able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
