What does a great PS Advisory Services Consultant do? You will perform in depth analysis of a client’s strategic goals and business requirements to provide the client with a detailed plan including system specifications for new product implementations, recommended best practices for existing solutions and organizational/proce​ss changes.

  • Your recommendations and plans will help facilitate financial institutions to optimize the Premier core system.  Creating a foundation for our clients to have streamlined processes and holistic view of customers.  This will position clients to have a foundation for optimizing customer relationships, improving customer service and cross selling products. Additionally, you may be required to quantify and model scenarios involving the impact on revenue and expense expected by implementing the Fiserv recommendations. The Advisory Services Consultant will present findings and recommendations to the executive level of financial institutions. Once a financial institution elects to move forward with the recommendations you will be responsible for managing all components of the project to ensure proper execution. They will be responsible for coordinating with multiple business units within Fiserv and outside resources as the projects dictate.  The Advisory Services consultant will be responsible for making parameter changes to the Premier applications as needed to support business objective.

Basic qualification for consideration:

  • Minimum of 7 of experience banking, consulting or financial services industry
  • Applies business knowledge and understanding of core financial  systems to translate client’s requirements into detailed systems specifications for implementation
  • Defines project scopes and prioritizes client business requirements
  • Presents findings and recommendations to executive levels within financial institutions
  • Provides training, mentoring, and insight to less experiences members of the consulting team
  • Develops detailed technical specifications for any customized development or scripting work that is required during the course of a project as needed
  • Ensures validation and testing of the solution against business requirements is performed
  • Develops and delivers client training
  • Gathers, analyzes and documents current practices, workflows and business needs
  • Provides data to identify workflow and business efficiencies, alternatives and gaps
  • Coordinates with multiple business units to ensure proper execution of strategic initiatives
  • Quality and team oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility—change orientation

    Travel required: 30 to 50%

Preferred qualification for consideration:

  • Knowledge of Premier core and Customer Information File highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finan​ce/Marketing​ OR equivalent experience with a high school diploma
  • Knowledge of banking deposits and loan instruments
  • Experience with marketing or MCIF (Marketing information customer file) systems
  • Strong business acumen -- Knowledgeable of financial business operations, practices, policies and procedures; high level of understanding of Fiserv products and services
