Principal IAM Access Engineer (Ping ID)

What does a successful Principal IAM Access Engineerdo at Fiserv?

You will be involved in all stages of development, from solution design to development to deployment, testing, and maintenance. You will collaborate with solution architects, network, and application teams while guiding and mentoring junior engineers. This is a principal-level position, and you'll need to be an expert in the Access space.

What you will do:

  • Deploy, configure, and tune the Access Engineering stack both on-premise and in the cloud
  • Create prototypes to validate proposed ideas and solicit input from stakeholders
  • Convert high-level design to low-level design and implements
  • Collaborate with team leads to define/clarify business requirements, estimate development costs, and finalize work plans
  • Create and run unit and integration tests on all created code throughout the development lifecycle
  • Assist the Operations Team with any environmental issues that arise during application deployment in the Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments (L4 support and troubleshooting)
  • Assist other teams in resolving issues that may develop because of applications or the integration of multiple components

What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of IAM experience in Azure AD/Entra ID or Azure B2C and IAM products such as PingIdentity suite and any one of Siteminder, Okta, or ForgeRock
  • 5+ years of experience creating test cases and scenarios based on specifications
  • 5+ years of experience in configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting PingFederate, PingAccess, and Admin API against PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingOne
  • 5+ years of experience in PingOne technologies PingOne MFA, PingOne Protect, and LDAP technologies or ACTIVE Directory
  • 5+ years of experience using Postman for API testing and automation and in Industry standard protocols like OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML
  • 2 + years of work experience with cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
  • 2 + years of work experience working with modern access technologies like Passwordless/Passkeys for building risk-based policies and User registration and authentication flows.
  • 2+ years of experience automating and deploying products as Infrastructure as Code

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with secure code analysis by using tools such as Fortify
  • Development experience
  • Understanding of Rest API’s
