SME Payment Consultant

What does a successful SME Payment Consultant do?

As an SME Payment Consultant at Fiserv, you will play a vital role in prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities in the fintech and payments industry. Your communication skills and ability to engage with prospects via phone and email will be instrumental in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

What you will do:

  • Develop clear strategies and methodologies for all stages of generating new business, from prospecting to proposal to closure.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to meet both personal and team weekly targets, leveraging various avenues for prospect discovery.
  • Identify customer needs effectively to maximize sales opportunities and meet customer expectations.
  • Engage positively with prospective customers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of products and services, maintaining a high lead to conversion rate.
  • Upsell and cross-sell to new business prospects and existing customers, maximising revenue potential.
  • Deliver exceptional service to prospective and existing AIBMS customers, including transferring customer support calls to the help desk where appropriate.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Risk and Compliance guidelines.

What you will need to have:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a telephone-based sales role, with a proven track record of achieving targets in a B2B service-based industry.
  • Exceptional track record in identifying and prospecting new business opportunities.
  • Experience in achieving success against challenging targets with complex sales cycles and product requirements.
