The Role

We’ve started our journey to create a world class payments platform. As Professional Services Project Manager you’ll oversee the delivery of enhanced functionality to our key Merchant Processing platform clients. That means you’ll be defining the project delivery plan, responsible for stakeholder management and working with the scrum teams to deliver our client’s requirements. 

You’ll need to consider all aspects of delivering enhanced functionality to our key clients including requirements gathering, budget management, expectation setting in addition to risk and dependency management.

In this role you’ll report directly to the Professional Services Delivery Directory and will work closely with the Professional Services Project Managers, Business Analysts and the scrum teams.

You should have a keen interest in Project Management; The right person will be prepared to provide a seamless client experience and work closely with internal stakeholders

Teams

  • The Professional Services Org has the following roles in place:
    • Dedicated scrum teams to support an enhanced client delivery model and provide a positive experience for our customers
    • Project Managers with a range of experience who are focused on supporting an efficient operating model to support our client’s needs
    • Dedicated Business Analysis who are SMEs on the platform and our client base
    • In addition to working with the dedicated PS resourcing the Project Manager will work closely with shared services across the platform
    • The Business Development team is a key stakeholder of our PS Org which the Project Manager will have frequent interactions with     


What you will do

  • Own the management of complex client projects from initiation through to implementation
  • Build a strong relationship with our key clients
  • Dig deeper to drive the PS delivery quarterly roadmap
  • Responsible for project planning and resource allocation across multiple teams
  • Create project documentation including project plans, timelines, status reports, issues/risks logs
  • Provide sales support and engage in business development initiatives
  • Identify and optimise client delivery improvements
  • Responsible for the prioritisation of all project tasks
  • Work closely with our clients to ensure all 3rd party dependencies are correctly identified and planned
  • Responsible for monitoring performance across all aspects of an assigned project.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven success in delivering medium to large complex projects in a client facing role within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Agile and scrum practice experience
  • Scrum Master experience is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong knowledge of software development cycle
  • 5 years project management experience
  • Card Payments business knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment across geographical boundaries
  • Quality focused with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, with a drive and commitment towards project delivery
  • Confident in a client facing role and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform project tasks effectively, while managing time and priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Confident with preparing presentations, proposing solutions and driving decisions
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
  • You have an appetite to learn, challenge and be proactive
  • You have the mind-set of thinking about the customer problem first
  • You have excellent communication and networking skills

Our Hiring Process:

Stage 1 – A meeting with the Professional Services Director who’ll run through the position, your experience followed by a combination of technical and competency based questions.

Stage 2 – Depending on the role you have applied for, you may be asked to complete an assessment focused on your area of expertise.

Stage 3 – A meeting with other team members to run through your application followed by some questions to understand your decision making and thought process.
