Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware,software,automation,application
Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the company; scope and create automation for deployment, management and visibility of our services
Perform Installation, configuration, customization, operation, recovery and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux servers in a Production and Build environment
Develop and implement strategies for migration, consolidation and upgrade of Linux/Unix platform
Clustering and High availability management along with virtualization solutions
Monitor day to day application activities and enhancement to ensure uptime of the Unix Systems
Maintain and enhance environment for running batch jobs and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity , SSL, SSH associated with daily batch cycle and batch reporting subsystem
Apply Patches and Upgrades as necessary
Perform tasks for Backup and Recovery Management ,automated backup and restore function using scripts
Candidate should be very good in Unix Scripting and should have written multiple Unix scripts
Combine the ability in scripting and troubleshooting application errors in Linux/Unix environments with fine technical acumen
Perform Forecasting and Estimating Capacity Analysis
Cover on-call/Standby on rotation. Managing ticket queues for incidents/service requests & changes
