Commerce Hub Quality Assurance Engineering Director

What does a successful Commerce Hub Quality Assurance Engineering Director do at Fiserv?

  • The Commerce Hub Quality Assurance Engineering Director ensures that the delivery of products is of the best quality, predictable, and consistent at Fiserv.
  • You will deliver innovation through simple, fast integrations. The Commerce Hub is the most powerful omnichannel platform. With developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified APIs, and pre-certified integrations the Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market.

What you will do:

  • Manage Functional, Integration, and Regression testing independently with senior management and technical groups globally.
  • Ensure formal test plans are developed and reviewed with all stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
  • Lead and participate in test planning and quality review sessions.
  • Oversee the writing of test cases/scripts that may include application, network, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Engage in activities to include planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting tasks.
  • Work with technical and business groups to define the scope of testing required and monitor and execute automation test activities for large-sized projects.
  • Research new tools and testing approaches and executes upon/monitoring the implementation of such items.
  • Provide post-test execution activities that include error debugging, reporting needs, and internal and external communications.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or certifications
  • 15+ years of previous senior program or product management and/or relevant consulting or military experience                                           
  • 10+ years of experience working with information systems elements (hardware, software, and network) and their application to business functions/processes
  • 10+ years of experience with testing tools, database concepts, and MS Office
  • 10+ years of experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
  • 7+ years of experience testing APIs and RESTful/JSON web services
  • 7+ years of test automation experience using tools such as QTP/UFT, JMeter, Selenium Web Driver/TOSCA

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with payment industry applications
  • Merchant Payment Processing – authorizations at either point-of-sale or Card-Not-Present (eCommerce/digital), clearing and settlement systems, merchant on-boarding, merchant reporting, fraud/security analytics
  • Payment Processing for Financial Institutions, specifically for debit cards, loans and/or credit card systems (new accounts, plastics, letters, notifications, preferences, parameter controls, payments, sales, account updates, memos, rewards, fraud, statements, collections, authorizations, chargebacks/retrievals, merchants, settlement, etc.) 
  • Financial services with high-volume, large-scale processing and reporting
