Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Timely registration of various accounting transactions and documents in financial system in accordance with Fiserv standards and policies;
  • following agreed processes; updating process documentation if necessary;
  • participation in month-end/year-end activities and processes;
  • checking documents and transactions in the finance system in following areas: e.g. intercompany, fixed assets,  other costs form VAT and CIT perspective;
  • reconciling GL accounts balances;
  • verification of completeness of accounting documents and archiving it;
  • carrying out other requests from the manager in the assigned area of accounting;
  • supporting the Team in implementation of SAP.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Polish GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Policies);
  • knowledge of finance-related systems – SAP will be an asset;
  • good, practical knowledge of VAT and CIT;
  • good, practical knowledge of MS Office;
  • fluent English (written and spoken);
  • at least 3 year experience within GL Team;
  • a candidate must have the ability to work effectively in fast paced environment; 
  • also must have aptitude to interact with various levels/departments.
