Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have at least four years in Splunk Dashboard and display a proficiency in many of the following:
Production Support of complex platform systems.
Provides software configuration management in the realm of change deployment, change execution, job scheduling, release management, and release implementation.
Troubleshoots and restores service to multiple applications, Networks and system using industry accepted techniques and procedures.
Performs impact analysis to output data processing based on user and client requirements.
Analyses documentation supporting changes in a complex production environment.
Will communicate status of operations to allow for immediate response to service disruptions.
Serves as an escalation point for more complex issues.
Performs additional job duties as required.
Willingness to join an out of hours on-call support rotational
Job Requirements
4+ years of relevant technical and business experience
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications
Splunk User Certified 6.x (Required)
Experience in some of the following:
Credit Card Processing a distinct advantage
Strong understanding of complex business processes/functions
Strong experience with incident, problem and change management reporting and processes in a multi-client environment
Experience in working with technical data and understanding complex technical terminology
Able to produce statistical data/charts/graphs
Proficient in Unix (Aix & Linux)
Expert knowledge of ControlM Scheduling
Proficient in SQL queries
General experience with Apache and JBoss
Networking / Telecommunications (TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS)
Experience with automation tools, SaltStack preferred
Experience with Version Control software preferred
Experience with Splunk and App Dynamics preferred
Citrix Netscaler experience an advantage
Experience with tools like Netcool, Moogsoft an advantage
Real-time transaction orientated environments
Strong scripting experience, Python, JavaScript & Unix shell scripting
Desirable
Knowledge of credit card acquiring business
