Group Product Manager, Growth:

About the Role:

Clover’s product team is focused on simplifying the lives of small business owners through the strategic efforts of empowered product teams. Helping merchants and Clover achieve their respective goals through this mission is our daily focus.

Clover is looking for a hands-on growth product manager to join our Value Added Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining strategy for key growth products, including Clover Online Ordering and our suite of marketing tools. Online Ordering and marketing. You will be the bridge between merchants, core product development teams and Clover’s business unit giving constant focus to achieving our annual performance KPIs.

You will find success in this role by:

1. Looking across the entire product lifecycle for opportunities to grow product

adoption and engagement.

2. Implementing an experimentation framework that you, core product and product

marketing teams can use to scale the product and inform marketing strategies.

3. Continually pressure testing a given growth strategy, iterating on the fly and

bringing the cross-functional team along with you on the journey.

4. Bringing a project management mindset to the role as you context switch

between multiple product lines and drive the team to success.

  • You’re most comfortable with open-ended problems and are energized by new challenges. You’re more of a tinkerer and innovator than a polisher or a craftsperson.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, understand that constant attention to detail leads to success and you’re rarely satisfied with the status quo. You will be responsible for clearly communicating what success looks like through compelling storytelling to various internal and external stakeholders.

You will:

  • Be a consultant, coach and cheerleader for product managers working on the tactical roadmaps for Online Ordering and marketing product lines.
  • Define success for a given product through the lens of the company's growth objectives and align the cross-functional team to achieve the business outcome.
  • Ensure Clover is providing a holistic and satisfying experience for merchants as they engage consumers in ways that will grow their business.
  • Own the Clover marketing (aka Promos and Rewards product line) success metrics.
  • Own the end-to-end merchant and consumer engagement funnels for Clover Online Ordering.
  • Challenge the status quo and be a growth evangelist.
  • Gain a deep understanding of existing acquisition channels and the Online Ordering and marketing products.
  • Work closely with product marketing managers to define performance marketing strategies and priorities.
  • Work closely with core product managers to assess impact and priority of product roadmap deliverables using predictive adoption modeling, qualitative data and quantitative data from running experiments (e.g. a/b testing).
  • Assist in analyzing and reviewing the impact of existing features/functionalities.
  • Travel: some travel may be required; One to five trips per year.

Qualifications:

  • 4 to 5 years of growth product management or growth product marketing experience
  • Proven record of achieving meaningful performance metrics for your product’s business unit.
  • 2 years of people management experience
  • Be able to define strategy, tactics and metrics starting from the users’ needs.
  • Proven product leadership to identify opportunities and drive excellence in executions to harness results from those opportunities.
  • Proven record of using data to influence requirements and design.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance marketing and user growth analytics.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to think and lead complex projects simultaneously
  • Independent, self-starter able to directly and indirectly lead a group to deliver product requirements and ultimately a feature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Preferred but not required: 2+ years of people management experience managing at least two product managers
