What does a great Principal Finance Consultant do? The Professional Services Principal  Finance Consultant will provide analysis, consultation, and recommendations and hold responsibility for DNA implementations for our credit union and bank clients during deployment of DNA Core Financial Software, in order to ensure clients’ business needs are met.  In addition, this position will support clients with both strategic consulting and implementations of post live items/modules. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will assist clients with training, workflow assessment, account reconciliation and implementation of DNA.  The goal is to ensure all aspects of DNA core functions are easily transitioned, while we prepare the client to manage their system independently.  The right candidate will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and implementations of their suite of products and provide the best-in-class solutions to the clients’ needs.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Support sales and consulting team
• Change champion
• Professional communication skills
• Provide best in class, industry recognized, recommendations for implementation and process improvement with the conversion of DNA
• Configure and Implement DNA Core Processing Functionality
• Document client and internal discussions and decisions
• Execute specific duties and groups of work as assigned
• Test new features and functionality of the DNA product suite
• Engage with clients and evaluate Readiness for conversion
• Conduct support and training sessions with converting clients
• Ensure client satisfaction
• SQL Preferred
• Engaging with clients and evaluate Readiness for conversion
• Ensuring client satisfaction
• Developing the new bank’s financial workflow of transactions to the general ledger through a set of DNA tools and mapping
• Assisting the client to define proper institution parameter and system settings
• Test new features and functionality of the DNA product suite
• Diagnosing and recommending solutions to issues.

Required Qualifications:

• 0-5 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in banking, financial services  or treasury software.

• Software implementation experience.

• Experience working with a Fiserv core client a plus!

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting .
• DNA Core system experience

• The ability to travel on average of 50%-75%, this may include weekend and holidays
• Analytical thinking
• Highly motivated to execute on deliverables on time
• Proficiency in MS office tools

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Client facing experience with internal/external clients
• Flexibility to work after hours/on-call as needed basis
• Subject Matter Expertise in at least one of the following areas:
• Accounting\Accounting Daily Operations
• Back-office processing, including file exception processing

Additional Skills/Knowledge:
• Prior conversion experience
• Experience with SQL
• Strong presentation skills
• Prior training experience

Travel Required:
• Average 50%-75%, may include weekend and holidays.
