The Debit Card Product Strategy Advisor will support the development of the Debit client advisory practice and related revenue model for Card Services Portfolio Growth business.  In this critical role, the Advisor will drive profitability, product design and business growth strategies for our clients and help them succeed in the marketplace.  Additionally, this position will support key strategic initiatives within the Card Services Portfolio organization.

As a key business unit within the Fiserv, Card Services provides debit, credit, prepaid and network solutions to Community Banks and Credit unions and their customers that assist them in delivering enhanced revenue streams, reduced operating expenses and operating efficiencies to improve their overall profitability.  Leveraging the Pragmatic Marketing Framework, the Debit Card Product Strategy consultant will define client market problems, deliver growth strategies and fully leverage Fiserv’s distinctive competence.

Responsibilities:
• Work with our most strategic Debit processing clients at the executive level to understand their market problems, build product, and marketing strategies and deliver on client growth objectives
• Partner with Client Executives to facilitate client hand-off to other Fiserv departments to ensure that strategies are translated into actionable tactics
• Build knowledge repository and leading best practices to assist our clients to better compete in the industry
• Deliver Debit Advisory practice as a key differentiator in the marketplace
• Achieve annual product revenue growth and profitability goals
• Partner with high performance, client focused team responsible for identifying, designing solutions and delivering on client growth objectives
• Develop tools and frameworks to provide thought leadership for Debit both internally and externally, and improve Fiserv’s competitive positioning in the marketplace
• Act as an industry subject matter expert for other areas of the organization that serve Debit Solutions clients on a day-to-day basis.

• Conduct financial analyses, compile metrics and articulate results to relevant audience.

• Navigate a large organization and effectively interact with all levels of clients and Fiserv staff.


Basic Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
o 3+ years’ experience in a strategic decision-making capacity in the Debit Card industry in product management, marketing, market strategy, or a related function.

o Prior experience in Debit issuing with a bank or credit union
o Knowledge of broader electronic payments industry and solutions.

o Excellent professional written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

o Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with focus on Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
o Knowledge of broader electronic payments industry and solutions.

o Knowledge of card payment services and related products, as well as the card industry, including competition and financial institutions.

o Highly collaborative work style with the ability to positively negotiate, influence others and maintain effective business relationships.
o Demonstrate leadership skills and align with Fiserv values.
o Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize issues and work independently with minimal supervision/direction and with a strong sense of accountability of self and others.
o Results-oriented with the desire and ability to push through obstacles in order to achieve goals.
o Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed
o Strong strategic, analytic and problem-solving skills
o Interest in creating leading solutions that have the potential to transform our industry
