Responsibilities
What does a great Client Training Specialist do?
You will facilitate new and existing exceptional client training on credit and/or debit and surround solution virtually and in person (when it resumes). Your training will contribute to the success of our products and business. You will apply your understanding of products and services to translate complex information into simple, polished, and engaging facilitation. Seeking a candidate with verbal communication skills, experience working with external clients and experience facilitating engaging client training with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
In this role, you can look forward to the following:
Instruct participants in both instructor-led classroom and virtual learning programs
Deliver and maintain a schedule of new product and refresher training courses
Recommend program enhancements based on client feedback
Demonstrate proficiency to facilitate training content by conducting internal teachbacks
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to address follow-up questions from class and provide prompt responses to participants
Maintain strong interaction with SMEs to assist in the creation and revision materials
Consult with internal clients to understand training requirements for the credit solution
Consult with external clients to identify training needs and provide a recommended training program
Work with Instructional Design team to ensure that course materials and training courses reflects current product features and organizational processes
Contribute to the instructional design process to develop client education programs
Incorporate adult learning principles (learning needs/styles, etc.) in all material and activity delivery
Review and provide input into curriculum and supporting documentation as content changes
Basic qualifications for consideration:
0-5 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Business, Professional Writing, English, or Journalism
Three years’ experience delivering training
Three years’ experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Experience in adult learning methodologies
Experience delivering virtual training
Proficiency with Webex
Proficiency with SharePoint document repositories
Related banking industry experience in platforms, banking applications, payments or online financial solutions.
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication and customer service skills
Advanced organizational and time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Travel required: Moderate travel may be required (up to 35%) post-pandemic
