Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and code technical changes, analyze current products for technical issues and gaps

• Fix code defects & Review code of other members 

• Design and implement security and performance improvements in products

• Conduct needs analysis and project specifications for all design and development projects.

• Consult withbusiness partnerson redesign and enhancements

• Coordinate technical support and maintenanceofassociated applications to ensure the highest availability.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and all applicable technologies, including scripting, security issues, authoring tools, graphic design tools, and new languages.

• Mentor, motivate,coach,and develop high performing Development teams within an Agile environment.

• Manage adherence to mandatory software disciplines like audit compliance&security practices 

• Guiding,challenging,and facilitating the Development teams on practices such as continuous integration, continuous build and delivery, and other DevOps practices.

• Foster collaboration across the Development teams to solve tough business problems.

• Build relationships with all functional areas and manage stakeholder expectations.

• Excellent team player, capable of working with all levels within the organization.

• Excellent facilitation skills for meetings, working sessions, discussion with participantshaving varying level of experience.

• Ability to participate and engage with development teams to help solve or overcome technical/engineering challenges.

• Ability to always ask the question “why” when working with stockholders on design and development.  

• Experience thriving in matrixedorganization, including offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 10+yearsof professional experience with expert-level knowledgejava technologies.

• 6+years of professional experienceworking with Microsoft SQLorDB2

• 4+years of professional experience working with modern technologies such asAngular, Type Script, HTML,Tomcat,Spring Boot, Cloud,Pivotal, GitlabandHibernateare plus.

• Comfortability with AgileSoftware Development methodology.

• Knowledge of DevOps philosophy and infrastructure 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Web Services and design patterns (SOA, REST)

• Cloud Foundry deployment will be an added advantage

• Experience with Dev Ops tools like JIRA, Gitlab,Jenkins

• Experience inbuilding unit tests and driving high qualitysoftware byTest Driven Development.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
