Computer Operations Support, Professional
Hands on experience working with MVS, JES2, CICS, CA-7 CA-11 & CA-1. Professional exposure to VTAM, DB2, HSM & Endeavor. Mainframe experience working with TSO, SDSF, ISPF (commands, functions, EDIT, DSLIST, Dataset & Library Utilities), JCL knowledge, Batch ABEND resolution process, and Mainview. Experience with RMDS. Direct exposure to the operational environment of IBM Sysplex mainframes, OS/390, HMC, CMOS and System IPL’s. Direct experience of IBM utilities such as: IEBGENER, IECOPY, IEBCOMPR & IEHLIST, IEFBR14, IEBUPDATE, SORT/MERGE utilities.
Skills and Knowledge Required
Good knowledge of multi-tiered platforms. PC skills should include Microsoft Windows (2000 or XP, Vista, 7 or later), Microsoft Office – (Word, Excel, Project), Visio and Lotus Notes Microsoft Outlook.
3.Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills required. Must have experience with working with external customers directly on a technical level.
Must be able to complete multiple tasks with limited supervision. Strong focus on teamwork, communication and initiative. Actively share knowledge and train others on a continuous basis.
