What does a successful Technical Consultant do at Fiserv?
Fiserv APAC Delivery Services works with clients across Asia Pacific to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end banking solutions. As a seasoned consultant, you will lead the development team working on medium-large IT delivery projects and ensure that quality, timelines and cost KPIs are met.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, and organization
- Liaise with internal and external clients
- Analyse clients’ existing system
- Be hands on and involved in providing user support which requires investigation and troubleshooting issues
- Identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business sustainability
- Hands on individual and be able to work with local and offshore teams to deliver projects on their technical aspects
What you will need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in Java development
- 5+ years of experience in .Net development particularly in C# WinForms (prefer version 3.5 or higher)
- 5+ years of experience in SQL scripting (stored procedures, triggers, tables, etc.) for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or higher
- Good debugging and problem solving skills
- Good understanding of Framework and Design Patterns and able to understand complex Architectural aspects
- RUP, Agile and Waterfall development experience
