About our Business:  The Card Services business at Fiserv provides complete debit, credit, prepaid and ATM payment services to financial institutions as well as Accel®, a premier payments network. Our products, services and strategies allow our clients to maximize revenue, increase customer acquisition, improve retention, reduce expense, minimize risk and increase share of wallet.

This position can work remotely anywhere in the United States.  The preferred location is the Parsippany, NJ or Alpharetta, GA office. 

Position Purpose:

This position is a highly strategic, end- to-end marketing role that includes multi-disciplinary go to market planning, product launches, demand generation and sales enablement.

Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing, you will craft differentiated messaging, focus on marketing campaigns, and marketing communications including thought leadership content for our product line owners.

We are seeking a progressive thinker, highly experienced in marketing communications, with the ability to take complex technology features and turn them in to compelling benefit driven messages for our clients and prospects.   You will create go to market plans that that show a deep understanding of buyer personas and content strategy for each cycle in the buying process and will be able to effectively articulate how Fiserv clearly solves market problems.  Working closely with Product Line Owners, Sales and Account Management, you will develop marketing plans, launch products, and develop innovative demand generation marketing programs that drive significant growth and product engagement. Essential Job Responsibilities: 

•Strategic Marketing Plans - Independently spearheads strategic initiatives and go to market plans, key value propositions and relevant industry or company proof points  and campaigns that will help our clients deliver new digital consumer experiences and will drive growth in new markets

•Marketing Communications and Content Development  - Create original marketing communications, thought leadership content and campaigns for the specific product lines, including management of relationships with internal partners, advertising, and public relations agencies

•Product positioning - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products, creating original content and defining and coordinating marketing programs.

•Cross-business unit collaboration - Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the company to ensure alignment with product objectives, alignment of consumer marketing assets, brand standards and product line revenue goals.

•Market Intelligence and Action Strategies– be the expert on your buyer personas and their buying criteria, understand the planning and decision making cycle of financial institutions, be the expert on our competition and know how to win market share.

•Sales enablement - Work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Channels partners so that our voice resonates clearly and consistently in the market.

•Demand Generation – develop the strategy, write content and work with internal teams to create and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for our products.

Required Qualifications:


•Bachelor’s degree required. MBA, MS or other post-graduate education preferred.

Job Related Experience:

•Minimum 5 years financial services marketing experience.

•Marketing communications campaign experience.

•Product Launch experience.

•Social media marketing experience.

•B2B (Business to Business) marketing experience preferred.

•EFT Payments, and Debit and Credit Card Marketing experience preferred.

•Demonstrated highly organized project management skills

•Excellent written communication and content development skills

•Independent, proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for the consumer and client experience

•Demonstrated strategic growth expertise

•Creative, resourceful, detail oriented, with a results driven ability to independently oversee multiple projects simultaneously

•Comfort working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with the discipline to adhere to corporate governance and global brand standards.

•Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships in a team environment

•PowerPoint and Microsoft Office fluency.  Adobe Design Suite preferred.

Travel Required:

•Less than 5% as required
