What does a successful Senior Software Developer do at Fiserv?
Using cutting edge technologies, Fiserv’s Data Commerce Solutions team is building next generation platforms for our client’s data and analytic needs. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be using a diverse technology stack including cloud and big data to customize platforms and applications to help our business become more secure and efficient. You will be working in an Agile and DevOps environment and will work on change and release management.
What you will do:
You will use your in-depth knowledge and experience in software design and development to implement transformational solutions that involve Java based Micro-services, cloud and Big and Fast data. As a technical lead, you will also serve as a mentor to a team of junior developers.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or degree
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in developing and designing software applications using Java platforms.
- 2+ years’ programming experience with Functional programming on Java.
- Good understanding of Design patterns and REST based Microservices.
- Experience on API Gateways like Apigee.
- Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with near real-time stream processing (Kafka & Spark)
What would be great to have:
- Certification in Azure or any other cloud.
- Experience in Big data and/or Snowflake.
- Experience on Pivotal cloud foundry.
