Job Title: Project Manager
What does a successful Project Manager do at Fiserv?
Fiserv is a world-class data and analytics organization delivering the next generation of powerful data insights and decisioning solutions to financial institutions, fintech, consumer/business credit bureaus, government agencies and merchants.
As a successful Project Manager, you will ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor medium sized scope and budget projects. You will partner with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful start-up and completion of a project.
What you will do:
You will establish and maintain relationships with project team members.
You will advise and consult with our clients to ensure clear and upfront scope definition, best fit solutions, to mitigate and reduce risks and for fact based transparent reporting.
Project manage and deliver low to medium projects within time, cost, and quantity measures growing
Lead project planning including scope definition, resource planning, project plan definition and schedule development
Solicit and document requirements clearly and concisely
Secure resources and assign work to resources in coordination with Resource Managers
What you will need to have:
• Bachelors degree (Preferred degree in business, information science, technology) or equivalent work experience
• No less than 3 years of previous project management or project related experience and/or relevant consulting experience
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies, as well as, project lifecycle
• Experience as a member of a project team, driving small – medium size projects within an organization
What would be great to have:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries desired
• Familiarity with Project Management tools
• Experience consulting as part of a team with a major consulting firm on client facing projects
