Responsibilities:
NonStop Systems Administration:
·Build and Configure NonStop Systems – Disks, Tapes, TCP/IP, IRS/OSM, System Software subsystems, etc.
·Perform Hardware and Operating Systems upgrades
·Install and manage third-party SW products

Systems Monitoring and Maintenance:
·Daily system monitoring including system logs analyses
·Problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution
·Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the NonStop systems including client connectivity issues, application, and platform issues

Technical Support:
·Proactive problem detection and remediation.
·Performance monitoring - Identifying system performance bottlenecks and recommending performance
improvement solutions
·Help Applications and GCC (Global Command Center) teams on System-level technical matters, including system performance monitoring and reporting
·Provide afterhours, on-call support on a weekly, rotational basis

Vendor Liaison:
·Engage with Vendor for hardware & software problem resolution, new hardware installation, Routine preventative maintenance, etc.

Key Skills:
o Guardian (J-series and L-series OS) and Utilities – FUP, SCF, SQLCI, Safeguard, DSM/SCM, Software Essentials, IRS, OSM, etc.
o TMF, Pathway TS/MP
o OSS, NS Java
o NonStop X technology (NSK L-Series)
o Security: Comforte products, XYPRO
o Replication: DR/Net, Goldengate Software (GGS)
o System Performance management: MEASURE, Prognosis,
o NonStop system software
o Networking and data communications
o System design and architecture

Qualifications:
·Bachelors degree in Science/Engineering/Computer Science OR 5+ years of related technical experience
·Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience on HPE NonStop Systems (J-series, and L-series OS)
·Strong understanding and operational experience in a large scale enterprise level
