Job Description – VP Head of GBS Marketing Data Solutions
Location: NY, NJ or Atlanta preferred | Background: High tech or Fintech company a plus
Reports to:  Mia Shernoff
We are recruiting a result-driven leader for the newly formed Data Solutions function, responsible for driving highly agile and data driven marketing solutions to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
This leader is responsible for the acquiring, extraction and interpretation of data that defines prospective buyers for our solutions across various segments. Leveraging and new data sources for lead and existing customer, the leader will establish predictive models and approaches to enhance our ability to qualify and capture buyers of various solution across our business. The function also leads the growing set of innovative data ‘products’ such as Catalyst, to enable the consumption and activation of customer and market insights that drive business growth.
Functional Description:
• Build team with dual operating functions:  data scientists and data product managers.
• Work with segment marketers to define data needs to aid growth for different channels; Consult with cross segment and product groups to develop potential new ways to acquire, capture, interpret and present data from existing and newly acquired sources.
• Forecast and develop the right strategies, unique approaches and testing to analyze data, create reports and perpetually enhance data with AI and machine learning tools
• Contribute data-driven content regularly, seeking new methods to extract intelligence
• Lead and manage the product feasibility, functionality and user experience of data products
• Collaborate with both front-line marketers and cross functional leaders
Requirements:
• Ten years of tangible experience with data analysis techniques, statistical modeling, and web insights with a minimum of five years leading a team
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of data products, from concept to post launch
• Critical thinker and problem-solver with ability to extract, interpret and present meaningful information from disparate sources of data
• Experience leading AI and machine learning projects. Comfortable with innovative approaches for data mining and predictive modeling to determine prospective buyers and propensity to purchase.
• Leadership of direct and virtual team members, comfortable managing those in offshored and remote locations.
• Is comfortable with complex organizations and highly dynamic environments. Easily works collaboratively with virtual and cross functional teams and motivating teams to bring projects to successful conclusion.
• Significant communication skills. Can easily present data-driven concepts and products in a simple and compelling manner
• Exceptional project and time-management skills. Flexibility and capacity to manage multiple projects and internal clients.
• Sense of ownership for team performance and its impact on company’s success
