What does a great Conversion/Implementation Analyst do?

You will be instrumental in increasing delivery capacity and client satisfaction rates to a consistent ‘A’ grade; You’ll work with the best clients and associates in the world, owning process improvement and quality initiatives, facilitating teamwork and pride in serving our client as they transition to a Fiserv solution.

Position Purpose:

  • Support Fiserv’s mission by providing best in class service, support, and implementation of Fiserv integrated technology and service solutions to our internal and external clients.

  • To exceed business and financial goals and become undisputed market leaders by delivering superior client value and contributing operating effectiveness and efficiency in an environment of highly engaged associates.

In this role, you can look forward to:

  • Managing conversion, implementation or deconversion projects for Fiserv clients via phone, email, and web-based contact channels

  • Analyzing and determining conversion requirements and provide conversion specification to programming

  • Interpreting client’s existing systems and workflows, through and including the balancing of conversion data

  • Providing consultation to the client before, during and after conversion, including the correct use of system and on-line terminal assistance, as well as daily application balancing procedures.

  • Communicating progress and any potential problems to management for awareness and/or resolution

  • Maintaining the tools used to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the conversion process (system studies, timelines, and questionnaires)

  • Applying standard project management principles including the creation and maintenance of project plans and managing project tasks and resource collaboration as they apply to each implementation.

  • Managing client expectations with respect to available product solutions

  • Analyzing and identifying identify root cause; providing input to solutions that lead to success for Fiserv and the client

  • We encourage you to utilize systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective manner

  • Assists management with the planning and design of improvements to business processes

  • Provide occasional after-hours or weekend client support during conversions, implementations or deconversion

  • Travel up to 30%

Basic Qualifications for consideration.

  • High School diploma.

  • Minimum: 2 years of experience customer service or project management in financial services or related industry

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.

  • Experience in Banking / Credit Union strongly referred

  • Experience with Fiserv Core, Online Banking, Financial/Accounting or Loan Service platforms preferred

  • Experience with systems / data analysis in financial services industry or closely related field.

  • Strong communication, including written, oral and presentation skills to be able to communicate project status, product details as well as technical specifications

  • Research and analytical skills to be able to problem solve issues and determine appropriate options for clients

  • Basic networking and data communication understanding is beneficial
