What does a successful Implementation Engineer do?

The Implementation Engineer’s primary role is to provide technical consulting to clients and serve as a subject matter expert on the Finxact Core APIs and integration points. In addition, the Implementation Engineer role encompasses all components of client implementations, training, overall product feedback and client support. This position works most days in office at our Jacksonville, Florida location.

What you will do:

The type of activities expected to be performed at this level include but are not limited to:

• Working with clients to solve complex business problems using the Finxact Core and its surrounds 

• Communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences 

• Interfacing directly with ecosystem partners, clients, and internal teams to promote the adoption of our product 

• Leading and participating in troubleshooting exercises for clients 

• Supporting the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application and client ecosystem requirements 

• Developing and coding core functionality and interfaces for our solution 

• Participating in execution and documentation of tests 

• Assisting in the deployment process for client implementations 

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline OR 2+ years of professional experience building software 

• 3+ years professional experience in API and software development  

• Fluent with functional, imperative and/or object-oriented languages  

What would be nice to have:

• Financial industry experience

• Knowledge of Golang programming

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
