What does a successful Software Developer – Core Application do?

The Software Developer will be working in an application design and development role on the Core-as-a-Service platform. The Developer will be creating new software and enhancing existing software to provide banking and financial institution services. 

What you will do:

• Work with business analysts, engineers, and other system users to understand and implement their application requirements 

• Work with partners to understand their implementations and gain a breadth of knowledge in cloud-based SaaS implementations and technologies 

• Provide quality software, improve test coverage and the overall quality of the systems 

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Comparable work experience will be considered.

• 3+ years of hands-on financial industry experience in software application development for Information Technology, loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, interface development, and/or CRM systems is strongly desired

• Familiarity with Core Banking processes, architecture, and software

• Experience with RESTful services, Swagger, Json data interchange, and GIT

• Strong technical analysis, design, and development skills

• Must be willing to work under deadlines and be detail oriented

• Ability to multitask and change direction in an ever changing environment

• Ability to execute on time-sensitive project deliverables

• Experience analyzing and interpreting data, as well as discussing business and technical topics

• Ability to work autonomously to coordinate multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision and under strict deadline

• Openness to feedback from code reviews and design direction from senior developers

What would be nice to have:

• Familiarity with Golang is a plus.

• Experience working in financial technology, financial services, or the financial industry.
