What does a successful Senior Technical Analyst do?

The Senior Technical Analyst will work with the VP of Core Development to develop and maintain the core backlog.  The Senior Technical Analyst will develop technical stories working directly with Development Lead, developer and internal and external customers.  This position is not remote and will be expected to report to our Jacksonville office the majority of days.

What you will do:

• Work with development lead to develop and maintaining a roadmap in conjunction with our product deliverables.

• Work closely with Product, Development and Architecture organizations to ensure development backlog and priorities align

• Translate and organize and prioritize Development roadmap into initiatives, epics and user stories

• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories

• Define acceptance criteria for user stories

• Develop use cases and other technical documentation to support epics and user stories

• Work with development lead to prepare for sprint planning

• Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on for each sprint

• Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals 

• Develop and maintain technical documentation about the architecture components and features

• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends and help mature these practices within the organization

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

• 5 + years of experience as a technical business analyst

• Experience with technical documentation and modeling

• 5+ experience with Agile methodologies

• Scrum certification and/or training

What would be nice to have:

• Experience in banking

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
