Business Analyst (Lending) - FinxactFinxact, a Fiserv Company, brings innovation to the core of banking and provides a next generation core platform. Our mission is to redefine core processing and our commitment is to be the best at what we do. This is a hybrid position reporting to the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
What does a successful Business Analyst (Lending) do?
The candidate selected for this role will be tasked with working with product management on conducting market analysis, assessing product line gaps, and clearly articulating detail requirements for cross functional staff including development, test, training, sales, and implementations. The candidate will work with clients to understand their business needs, recommend production solutions to those needs, and assist in configuration and knowledge transfer activities.
What you will do:
Develop business scope and requirements for new mortgage products, features, and revisions to existing products.
Perform analysis of various banking systems and understand how they would interact with the Finxact core.
Assistintheanalysisofcompetitor'sproductfeatures,positioningandmarketing,benefits,and pricing.
Provide on-going detailed knowledge and problem resolution to the sales channels and business partners.
Reviewthe payment process followed by the clients and suggest improvements.
Provide training to employees or clients on features and integration.
Provide technical inputs for technological interfaces such as APIs, JSON, messaging services, etc.
Test and maintain all applications that are part of the banking eco-system.
What you will need to have:
Minimum of 5+ years in financial services experience with a focus on mortgages
Knowledge and or experience with a variety of banking applications and detailed understanding of those interactions
Ability to provide remote support for our bank customers during live and post live implementation which may include issue resolution and manual maintenance
Software Implementation and configuration experience
Baseline understanding of the principles of technology
Requirements Analysis experience
What would be nice to have:
Project management or product owner experience a plus
