As a product marketer, a lot of my responsibility is around the go-to-market activities of a new or existing product. Our goal is to increase awareness of the product; make sure that we’re educating our clients about the value, why they should get it, how is it going to help their end-users. What does a great Select Service Advisor do?

You will assure sales satisfaction by maintaining overall operational relationship for the Business Consultants. You will build and maintain partnerships with the Sales Leadership, Business Consultants and other Internal Departments to drive operational excellence and achieve the service expectations of the Business Consultants on behalf of the Clients. Works on small to highly complex, issues with the Top Business Consultants, with a high breadth of responsibility. Work is broad in nature, requiring originality or ingenuity.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Act as the consultant to help achieve optimum sales, new account productivity, profit, and goals.
  • Provide ongoing relationship development through proactive efforts, including outbound calls to clients on behalf of the Business Consultant, in order to increase revenue retention.
  • Ensure complete and timely resolution for moderate to complex operational inquiries from the Business Consultants.
  • Identify cross sales opportunities and facilitating implementation and activation.
  • Be accountable for achieving the timely and complete resolution of Business Consultants issues and inquiries in conjunction with “Customer First” initiatives.
  • Include effective communication to all partners.
  • Attain departmental and operational standards, including quality, efficiency and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of First Data’s products, platforms, systems, and operational areas and processes.
  • Attend on-going training as required. Provides Business Consultant education and training as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience of progressively responsible industry experience in a customer facing role.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Good organizational, planning and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, team player with good planning and problem-solving skills whom is willing to focus and commit.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision towards the achievement of personal and team goals.
  • Analytical skills, understanding industry metrics and trends.
  • Effectively interact and communicate with varying internal departments.
  • Knowledge of Fiserv’s products, platforms, systems, and operational areas a plus.
