About our team:
The Mass Migration Conversion (MMC) team occupies the technical space between the Bank, Fiserv business & operational teams, and application development teams. The MMC team is required to create, run, and document processes needed to operate the FOCUS Conversion application toolset throughout the life cycle of bank conversions. The team is also required to perform both business and technical analysis, and to generate tool enhancement requirements needed to produce a robust fully automated solution. The Mass Migration Conversion team regularly collaborates with a cross section of internal and external business and technical teams, in order to improve speed to revenue for Fiserv and its Clients.
What does a great Conversion / Business Analyst do?
Our Merchant Conversion Analysts provide analysis and consultation for new and existing clients during core bank data conversions. The Merchant Conversion Analyst role is a key position in making for a successful data conversion for Fiserv’s clients. As a Merchant Conversion Analyst, you will analyze converted data and determine implementation requirements as well as configure software specifications to achieve desired results. We also assist with the development of new department procedures the implementation may require. As a Merchant Conversion Analyst, you can look forward to working with bank partners to understand their merchant portfolio needs, and deliver a seamless migration to Fiserv platforms. About the Role:
You will be an essential liaison between Fiserv and the Client to work together to help the Client to understand the process and requirement details involved in data conversions, product implementations, and occasional professional service projects. Working with new and existing Fiserv clients you will provide analysis, consultation and guidance on projects to ensure an accurate data conversion and enable clients to best function on the Fiserv system. Your efforts will be rewarded with a successful quality conversion, client satisfaction, and a positive post conversion survey.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
The Mass Migration Conversion team occupies the technical space between the business and application development teams. The team is required to create, run, and document processes needed to operate the Conversion Database toolset throughout the life cycle of bank conversions or internal entitlement conversions. The team is also required to perform both business and technical analysis and to generate tool enhancement requirements needed to produce a robust fully automated solution. The Mass Migration Team regularly collaborates with a cross section of internal and external business and technical teams, in order to improve speed to revenue for Fiserv and its Clients.
Technical Knowledge: The candidate will be able to perform Excel-based analysis, graphics, and reporting. The candidate will have working knowledge of IT project methodology, functions, and capabilities.
Business Knowledge: The candidate will have a working understanding of business and industry concepts that pertain to conversions.
Scope of Job: The candidate will be able to supports medium to high complexity business processes and projects.
Autonomy: The candidate will be able to work independently with business units and clients.
Coaching/Leadership: The candidate will be able to provide mentoring to team members.
Other duties as assigned by the manager. These may include, but are not limited to: existing client parameter reviews, QA assistance with new releases, conducting training sessions for clients or internal associates, etc.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications..
Three years of client onboarding/customer service experience and/or related functions such as data analysis, data mapping, client service support or business analysis for financial industry applications
2 or more years of working experience in business analysis
Ability to clearly communicate with external merchant clients and internal teams
Good knowledge of MS Office – Excel, Access and Word
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Previous conversion or onboarding experience.
2+ years in a related job function i.e., experience as a Product Support Representative in primary application is desirable.
Knowledge of Fiserv products
Possibility of Travel Required: On occasion, travel may be required to provide onsite client during conversion.
Occasional off-hours work may be required during specific time-sensitive conversion events.
