What does a fantastic Insurance Sales Executive do?

As the Sales Executive within our Insurance team, you will be responsible to develop and manage direct sales initiatives working primarily with Insurance Companies and Carriers for the purpose of promoting and selling the Fiserv suite of solutions. This position will include prospecting for new clients, building relationships with key executives, promoting and facilitating positive sales related activities, facilitating contracts and rates, as well as attending approved industry forums and conventions.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Develop strategies for selling to Insurance companies.
  • You will be responsible for territory development through relationships, analysis and market knowledge
  • Prospect and present Fiserv’s Solutions to targeted carriers.
  • Effectively presents the value proposition of Fiserv’s solutions to targeted prospects
  • Accurately report sales pipeline activity
  • Work with prospect’s leadership, Information Technology and business management teams to develop company specific opportunities; negotiate rates and contract language for execution
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications for consideration:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 10+ sales or business development experience within the Insurance and Carriers industry or similar vertical
  • Prior experience working with CRM Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrates expert understanding Insurance organizations and penetration strategies
  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the operational processes of Insurance companies with an understanding of their goals and objectives
  • Ability to travel 50%
