The Advertising Services Product Manager Opportunity

Fiserv works extensively with advertisers (e.g., retailers, restaurants, service providers, etc.) and other key advertising industry stakeholders through a payments focused product portfolio. In this role, your job will be to drive the development of new advertising related services that leverage Fiserv’s client relationships and payments data.  With significant changes in the advertising ecosystem reducing the types and amounts of third party data that will be available to advertisers, Fiserv believes that advertisers will seek to leverage their own payments data to a greater degree and will require new services from Fiserv to do so effectively. 

As a Product Manager, Advertising Services your primary focus will be to assist in managing a set of advertising-related solutions offered by Fiserv. The Product Manager will provide leadership throughout the entire product life cycle and across a broad set of internal and external stakeholders.

As a Product Manager, you can look forward to:

  • Owning the product / feature roadmap

  • Conducting market research to identify client needs, understand competitive offerings, develop product strategy, and build business cases

  • Translating product strategy detailed requirements, specifications, and prototypes

  • Selecting timing for market introduction

  • Assisting with marketing, pricing, and positioning strategies

  • Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

  • Managing product commercialization tasks required to bring product to market

  • Gaining a deep understanding of user journeys and user experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new insights that establish category leadership, improve user experience and drive growth

  • Managing product-related issues to resolution including problem identification, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and client communication

  • Scoping and prioritizing product features based on business impact, Legal input, and Compliance considerations

  • Working closely with the engineering team to build and optimize the service

  • Conducting sales training and participate in the sales process with clients

  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

  • Representing the company by visiting clients and partners to solicit feedback on company products and services

  • Drafting internal and external product-related communications

You're the kind of person who:

Has a strong background in software product management.  You have experience in the AdTech industry.  You are excited about the opportunity to utilize your advertising services experience for the leader in financial services and payments technology.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management

  • Experience in the AdTech industry and software product management

  • Experience leading all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

  • Experience developing product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to management and key stakeholders

  • Experience managing the product roadmap from both a technical and business standpoint

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Master’s degree

  • Agency experience or consumer packaged goods experience a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams

  • Analytical mind, always with an eye on business success

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, meeting management skills

  • Prior experience of successfully working in a dynamic, highly matrixed environment

Travel required: 20-30%
