What does a great Conversion Analyst do?
This position will engage you into a growing part of the Fiserv business – new client conversions. You will join the Delivery team who is responsible for converting credit unions to Fiserv Credit Union account processing platforms. You will be part of the Discovery team which is responsible for working with the Client at the beginning of their conversion. You will be instrumental in growing delivery capacity and client satisfaction rates to a consistent ‘A’ grade; You’ll work with the best clients in the world, configuring their systems and guiding them as they transition to a Fiserv solution.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Work with clients for initial data gathering, which will be used to initiate the starting of the conversion. The output of your efforts will set the expectation and the processes that will be used for data mapping and core (Portico) setup.

  • Analyze and determine conversion requirements and provide conversion specification to programming.

  • Interpret client’s existing systems, workflows, and processing parameters.

  • Provide consultation to the client during Discovery process. Because you are doing Discovery, at some point you will provide support to the Data SME.

  • Communicate progress and any potential problems to Discovery Lead, or Manager for awareness and/or resolution.

  • Maintain the tools used to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of conversion process (system studies, timelines, and questionnaires).

  • Apply standard project management principles including the creation and maintenance of project plans and managing project tasks and resource collaboration as they apply to each implementation.

  • Manage multiple clients and adhere to project timelines.

  • Manages client expectations with respect to available product solutions.

  • Solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example and experience that is commiserate with that of Business Analyst.

  • Utilize system and data to resolve business issues in the most effective manner.

  • Assists management with the planning and design of improvements to business processes.  

  • Support Fiserv’s mission by providing outstanding service, support, and implementation of Fiserv integrated technology and service solutions to our internal and external clients.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 2 years Financial Industry experience; working at a financial services organization, Credit Union or Bank required.

  • Experience and interaction with clients are required

  • Experience and knowledge of basic accounting principles is required. Basic knowledge of General Ledgers, the principles of debits, credits, and balancing.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Experience with Credit Union products and services highly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field

  • Project Management capabilities

  • Experience implementing or supporting SaaS solutions

  • Experience supporting Core Conversions

  • Portico Experience a plus

Travel Required: up to 50%, typically once a week each month for Discovery sessions, sometimes you will also travel to support a Go Live.
