As a product marketer, a lot of my responsibility is around the go-to-market activities of a new or existing product. What does a great Senior Human Resources Consultant role look like?

In this dynamic role, you will become an HR subject matter expert communicating supporting and outlining HR processes for Fiserv associates.

As a Human Resources Consultant, you can look forward to:

  • You will perform broad professional human resources activities to support policies and programs including on-boarding, compensation planning, performance and talent management, and employee relations.
  • Partner with cross-functional partners (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, HR Compliance) to develop solutions that address organizational needs with a focus on effective and efficient delivery and execution.
  • Partner with HR leadership in the coordination of activities and communications related to the annual performance management and compensation planning processes.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to associates and managers to resolve employee relations and performance issues.
  • Provide superior analyses and interpretation of workforce data to senior leadership. Conduct the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to assist in evaluating HR programs and processes to ensure they are efficient and effective. Utilize various HR systems to develop metrics and maintain reports for headcount, staffing, turnover, performance management, etc.
  • Performs in-depth research and modeling for various HR initiatives for the purposes of forecasting, analyzing and predicting various workforce conditions and its associated impact on specific areas.
  • Conduct statistical modeling and utilize database management tools to support a wide array of HR analytics and workforce planning projects.
  • Conduct investigations.
  • Assist with Associate Engagement Survey implementation and action planning.
  • Participate in HR initiatives and special projects in various functional areas of human resources. Summarize and present findings to HR leadership.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, I/O Psychology or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience, preferably in a large corporation within a matrixed environment.
  • Minimum 1 year experience leading investigations and managing employee relations, preferably in a call center environment
  • Strong project management skills with past experience managing multiple projects with dynamic deadlines
  • Knowledge of HR practices including employment, compensation, performance management, learning and development, employment law, employee relations and HR metrics and reporting.
  • Ability to identify and translates business issues into questions that can be answered with data.
  • Ability to transform data from different sources via use of sophisticated query and reporting, statistical transformation, regression analysis, extraction, and presentation tools.

Preferred qualifications for consideration

  • Strong analytic, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, unexpected tight timelines, embrace change and effectively manage a multitude of priorities (both long and short term), and demanding customers in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
  • Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive employee information.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential. We value the ability to work independently.
  • Strong business orientation evidencing the ability to approach business issues from multiple functional/operational perspectives.

  • Experience with a non-exempt population
  • Employee relations experience
  • Industry experience in information technology and/or financial technology preferred
  • Knowledge of various Human Resources concentrations preferred
  • Workday experience preferred. Solid HRIS knowledge and understanding.
  • Willingness to relocate, preferred
