What you will do
As a Product Director in our Financial Issuing Product segment you will play a key senior role in leading a portfolio of modernizing capabilities that will benefit our clients and the evolving market in which they operate.

We are looking for a Product Director to join our diverse team, to drive the direction of new product capabilities and to work with clients to ensure they understand the value we bring them.
Our platform capabilities include financial payment and processing, credit, debit, lending, commercial, digitalisation, fraud, risk & compliance, customer & channel management solutions in an extensive customer landscape. Serving thousands of financial institutions and millions of businesses worldwide to help simplify payment processing and improve the customer experience. Clients include. Financial Institutions, Fintechs, Government, Merchants, Retailers & Consumers.
Specific responsibilities will include:
A great product director at Fiserv is a natural leader who will excite and motivate teams to an outcome and common purpose
Be adept at gathering and synthesising client needs, use these and a deep understanding of the market to inform your product vision and strategy
Track payment industry trends, standards, and competitive offerings, pro-actively identify gaps and opportunities for value-add offerings
Act as the primary liaison for a product portfolio, partnering with sales, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, PMO etc)
Play a hands-on role in driving delivery of the product strategy, be a leader for all the teams involved and play an instrumental part in mobilising against the vision
Be the product subject matter expert for your domain, help drive scale and adoption of our products globally through relationships and effective communication
Partner with sales to drive commercialisation of our products, includes running product demonstrations, creating sales materials, and producing commercially sound proposals
Participate in client facing discussions, understand our client’s real needs and help them see the value of our product
What we’re looking for
A customer obsessed professional having at least 10+ years’ experience in a product leadership role in payments and/or financial services
A product led and commercially focused individual who enjoys problem solving and working cross functionally to deliver best in class solutions for our clients
Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills, can motivate others and can work effectively across the organisation with both business and technical stakeholders
A strong grasp of the fundamentals of modern product management practices and agile development
Analytical and curious, always asking questions, thinking "outside of the box" and innovating.
Project management skills, understands how to manage dependencies, risks, and issues
Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders, skilled in resolving conflicting situations
Third level qualification Bachelors degree, Masters preferred, additional European languages a plus.
Our Hiring Process
Stage 1 – Initial meeting with recruitment to understand in more detail your background and experience and to share more detail about the role and life at Fiserv.
Stage 2 – Three Interviews 30 minutes with senior leaders in the business who will run through the position, your experience followed by a combination of technical and competency- based questions.
Stage 3 – Final round panel to run through your application followed by some questions to understand your decision making and thought process.
