As a product marketer, a lot of my responsibility is around the go-to-market activities of a new or existing product. What does a great Process Security Engineer do at Fiserv?

You’ll work with client support teams and security data managers to promote the secure implementation of sensitive data required for the issuance of consumer payment accounts and the authorization of payment related transactions.  You’ll serve as a data custodian in the management of specially controlled, cryptographic data used in company systems, and work diligently and proactively to understand and drive the adoption of regulatory and compliance requirements for the use and protection of that data. We need someone who can collaborate with a broad range of business and technical teams, as well as, varying levels of management to determine cryptographic capabilities, requirements for managing cryptographic keys, evaluate client solutions and explore new ideas to improve our client experiences as payment solutions, authentication mechanisms and technologies evolve.

This job has three main components and requires these skills sets:

To act as a Business Analyst and cull out requirements

To perform as a process engineer to create change processes and intake processes

To help us with automation

In this role, you can expect to:

•Evaluate client processing setups to prevent or detect potential issues.

•Execute service delivery tasks, including the generation, exchange and retention of cryptographic data.

•Coordinate technical implementation tasks with systems and technology personnel.

•Evaluate data protection requirements, system and procedural controls, and advise stakeholders of security and compliance requirements and best practices.

•Develop and maintain business and technical documents describing security requirements, procedures, and appropriateness of cryptographic configurations and encryption schemes.

•Perform data collection, validation and analysis, and report on cryptographic data standards, trends, and risks.

•Think critically, contribute ideas, prioritize assignments and drive results with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

Bachelors Degree or high school diploma/GED

Minimum of 3 years working in a business analyst

Minimum of 5 years of process engineering work

Minimum of 2 years experience in automation processes

Minimum of 2 years experience/understanding of designing to  audit/compliance

Willing and able to periodically assist with off-hours/overnight support activities.

Demonstrated ability to effectively tailor communications between business and technical stakeholders, and correlate business and technical requirements.

Preferred Skills For Consideration:

Financial payment services experience with an emphasis on: payment account issuance, including tokenization and personalization/data prep.

Experience with authorization and management of contact, contactless, mobile/NFC payments.

Understanding of handling cryptographic and sensitive data protection industry standards (ANSI, ISO, PCI)

Understanding of payment network operating rules (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, STAR, Visa)

EMVCo and Global Platform specifications

Travel required: Up to 10% annually
