What does a successful Tax Analyst Senior do at Fiserv?

You will join a dynamic Corporate Tax team overseeing all aspects of our corporate income taxes. You will develop and gain valuable experiences in a wide range of tax disciplines including federal income tax, state income tax, and related reporting for US GAAP tax accounting purposes. 

What you will:

  • Prepare federal and multi-state corporate income tax returns.

  • Prepare state income tax extension requests, and estimated tax filings in compliance with federal and state tax laws.

  • Perform research on federal and state tax issues relevant to the preparation of corporate income tax returns. 

  • Perform research and prepare responses to state notices.

  • Assist with state income tax audit and related matters, including responses to tax authorities and dispute resolution of audit issues.

  • Monitor current and proposed federal and state tax laws and regulations to identify and assess impact on Fiserv.

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax account reconciliations, effective tax rate analysis, and deferred tax analysis.

  • Identify and assist with implementation of tax technology initiatives, process improvements, and risk minimization strategies.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline

  • 2+ years Federal and/or multi-state corporate income tax experience

What would be great to have:

  • Master of Science in Taxation

  • CPA Certification

  • 2+ years of experience with corporate income tax preparation

  • Experience at “Big 4” accounting firm

  • Proficiency with MS Excel

  • Tax preparation software such as OneSource, CorpTax or Vertex

  • Alteryx and/or Power Query
