What does an outstanding Salesforce Support Lead do?

The Salesforce Support Lead will provide end user support to an enterprise and global instance of Salesforce.com (SFDC).   This is a full-time dedicated position will lead the CRM help desk and support our current configuration.  You will also support license allocation and activation; investigating and troubleshooting issues; creating reports and dashboards; and maintaining a professional relationship with current users by enforcing standards and implementing change.  You will also contribute to future system enhancements by analyzing support and enhancement requests with the CRM Program Team.

You can look forward to: 

  • Managing CRM help desk cases to support internal users, manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of all internal user groups

  • Leading recurring weekly meetings with the extended international support team

  • Performing basic administration and configuration of an enterprise and global Salesforce.com instance which includes functionality research or validation

  • Working with developers on releases/enhancements schedules and communications

  • Participating in testing and quality assurance efforts representing the user community

  • Creating custom reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com specifically for support team metrics

  • Staying current on the latest Salesforce.com releases, technologies, and applications

  • Being able to effectively communicate and present Salesforce.com data and best practices to users and management

  • Delivering system notifications & updating FAQs

  • Maintaining data integrity using various utility tools (i.e. DataLoader)

  • Training and deploying Salesforce.com applications with guidance and assistance from the CRM program team

  • Identifying best practices in Salesforce.com based upon business and user needs including information gathering from the Salesforce.com online community

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School diploma required.   Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3 plus years of Salesforce.com and help desk experience

  • Previous experience with other CRM technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
