  • These are full time onsite positions (no remote). Can be hybrid option – at least 3 days / week in the office (all 5 days in the office for the first 90 days)

What does a great Java Developer do?
As a Developer, you will be a valuable technical resource designing and developing enterprise solutions on on-perm solution and working with Solution Architects. You will have an opportunity to work effectively on big and complex projects independently, and within a collaborative team-oriented environment.
If you’re a self-motivated developer with strong problem solving skills, and proven track record in Java technologies that can help in the design and development, we want to talk to you! You will research and suggest modern ways of development using cloud solutions. 

What you will do: 

  • Actively participate as a key member of the Agile Team, providing the necessary technical expertise and guidance to the team members, primarily responsible for delivering best-in-class technical solutions.

  • Analyze business and functional requirements to understand system and operational impacts.

  • Analyze, designs, program, debug, test and modify software enhancements and/or new products for application area

  • Develop new features for existing software systems following standard SDLC process

  • Contribute to the division’s software process improvement practices by writing great code

  • Acts as a technical SME for the applications within the assigned application portfolio.

  • Provide the necessary technical expertise to the Product Owner, Application Owner, and Program Manager to plan and assign work (stories and tasks) to associates

  • Provide technical expertise to size the scope of work to accommodate the workflow

  • Identify and recommend changes in software applications and interfaces, processes, and procedures.

What you will need to have –

  • Bachelor’s degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience.

  • 3 to 10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications using Java tech stack and hands on experience with large scale applications at large institutions.

  • 3 or more years of experience building APIs (Restful/SOAP), OAS (Swagger), Microservice development (Spring Boot),Postman/SOAPUI

  • 3 or more years of experience with application security involving AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Auditing) and security patterns like AUTH2.0, JWT/JWS

  • 3 or more years of experience working in Cloud Native technologies

  • 3 or more years of experience using one or more Relational & non-relational NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis), SQL and PL/SQL

What would be great to have –

  • Working knowledge of test-driven development methodology.

  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Tosca, Junit, Mockito, and Gherkin.

  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift

  • Familiarity or some experience with Splunk, Bitbucket, AppDynamics, Jira and Confluence

  • Experience with Azure Event Hub, Azure Blob Storage, Stream Analytics.

  • Practical experience with the end-to-end DevOps CI/CD pipeline including one or more of the following: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab, SonarQube.

  • Experience with Kafka, event driven architecture

  • Strong experience on event-based architecture leading strategy, governance, and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions.

  • Financial services industry experience.

  • Experience with analytics and performance monitoring.

  • Experience in the day-to-day practicalities of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc.

  • Experience with security implementations. i.e. Voltage, Sonatype, WebInspect, Fortify.
