Essential Job Responsibilities:

Business Operations

Run the day to day operations of our development centers
Anticipate and identify issues, and provide recommendations to address roadblocks and areas of opportunity.
Work closely with stakeholders to improve value for our clients through strategic improvements that leverage cloud
Translate business requirements into a strategic view that drives technology change and provide subject matter expertise on how to transform legacy IT organizations
Work with stakeholders in the business to identify and define the next opportunities and drive a game changing strategy, driven by technology, to deliver those opportunities
Communicate progress and expectations, escalations of problems to VP of Information Technology or peer leaders for awareness and/or resolution
Business Unit Priorities

In collaboration with the CIO, the VP of Information Technology and peer leaders, drive the development of long-term strategic plans to accomplish Business Unit goals.
Ensure that we continue to meet the high expectations that our developer communities have today
Develop a vision for the Bank Solution developer technology hosting environment of the future
Partner with peers to develop and implement our Cloud, DevOps and broad based platform automation strategy
Drive Platform rationalization, consolidation and operating efficiencies
Partner with peers to drive platform automation best practices throughout Bank Solutions, and act as a thought leader on platform automation strategies and techniques
Work with the latest technologies in the marketplace, and drive transformation and modernization efforts across Bank Solutions teams.
Collaborate with Development, Product Management and other Infrastructure Services teams on training, governance, and enablement programs.
Provide support to internal and external auditors

Ad Hoc Leadership

Evolve the network and operations of development environments from back-office operational oversight to a function that provides leadership in driving client experiences across products, services, and channels
Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines and work cross-functionally with Bank Solutions and other internal stakeholders
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices
Ability to see opportunities and guide the team through the delivery of automation solutions
Influence others by demonstrating professionalism, passion/enthusiasm, providing communication/motivation and creating a collaborative environment
Both lead and participate in various councils and cross functional projects including current run-the-business initiatives, new business ventures, acquisition management, client projects, large partnerships and others as assigned.
Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines and work cross-functionally with Bank Solutions and other internal stakeholders
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices

Client and Communications Management

Explain technical issues and IT solution strategies to stakeholders
Provide consulting and technical support to the developer and operations teams who leverage our solutions
Work closely with a diverse set of partners and act as an agent of change
