Senior Fraud / Credit Risk Specialist

Job Responsibilities

  • As a Credit Risk Fraud Analyst you will be responsible for reviewing transactions to identify any suspicious or fraudulent transactions within the merchant processing and any cautionary red flags that arise.
  • Perform in depth risk based reviews on transaction monitoring cases, to analyse trends and mitigate risks with clear and concise narrative.
  • Provide fraud education to merchants
  • Manage and understand reputational risk that may arise from merchant activity.
  • Where risk is identified ensure swift action is taken and all information is submitted to ensure we meet our regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake credit reviews, implement adverse actions and negotiations if required.
  • Help to support team with queries and escalations
  • Help with workload management and distribution

Candidate Requirements

  • Transaction Monitoring experience
  • Degree in related field or equivalent proven work experience in Fraud prevention domain. 
  • Knowledge of personal credit report, business financial statements and understanding of chargeback and disputes process.
  • Detail orientated with a logical and analytical mind.
  • The ability to interact effectively and positively with all stakeholders, partners, and vendors and clients
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of card scheme rules & regulations
  • PC Proficiency, including MS Office applications.
  • Good understanding of Risk Management preferably within Acquiring.
