Project Analyst – Basildon Essex

Fiserv are for a Project Analyst to join our UK time in Basildon, Essex. The Project Analyst will lead, coordinate or participates in activities across assigned projects simultaneously, including research, analysis, documentation, problem resolution, financial data capture and reporting, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review/audit.  The ideal candidate will requires qualities such as strong evaluation skills, attention to detail, originality or ingenuity.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Client Delivery project & Portfolio reporting: Includes SharePoint, Clarity, and Executive & Project level where appropriate.

  • Maintenance and support of the Holiday Database as required by Client Delivery management.

  • Responsible for Clarity reporting, data quality, and MI, financial data capture

  • Maintenance of the Client Delivery Business Continuity Plan

  • Support for the Client Delivery SharePoint site. Responsible for updates, KPIs, Reporting, design and content

  • Support full lifecycle projects with inter-dependent or direct resources as instructed by the Project Manager, to include, but not limited to supporting Project Plans, RAID, CRs Lessons Learn & PIRs 

  • Support, run, manage PMO duties as needed/instructed by the Project Manager

  • Facilitate meetings, reviews, and workshops involving internal and external participants

  • Perform, document and drive through project Health Checks with the project managers

  • Review, suggest and drive process improvements and efficiencies with the engagement & delivery models

  • Support & Drive KPI and improvements by client, by portfolio under instruction from the project manager

  • Support, drive Mentoring and knowledge share schemes

  • Support engagement model improvements, KPIs & Reporting for Fiserv vendors & suppliers

  • Manage Purchase ordering on behalf of the project manager supporting vendors / 3rd parties

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and English proficiency.

  • History of matrix-managing others for the successful completion of deliverables

  • Full project lifecycle experience

  • PMO experience

  • Payments awareness, knowledge, experience preferred. (Cards, Issuing, Acquiring experience desirable but not essential)

  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills & meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to facilitate meetings, reviews, workshops involving internal & external participants 

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Subject Matter Expert in at least two of the following areas strongly preferred: Clarity, JIRA, SharePoint,   

  • Ability to analyze and prepare data for Reporting manage reporting to tight deadlines, and to prioritize work accordingly

  • Expert in MSOffice Products especially WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint and MS-Project, Visio.

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to manage in a virtual team environment.

  • Enthusiasm and innovation to motivate others.

  • You have a passion for team building within Fiserv as well as when working with clients; you thrive supporting others to make the wider team a success.

  • Ability to manage rapid change in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to make information-based decisions (includes making decisions based upon little information and to deal effectively with ambiguity) on behalf of your team and to know what decisions should be escalated to senior level management.

  • Ability to determine estimates of effort and impacts on a variety of solutions.

  • Determination and drive to continually follow-up and validate information

  • In-depth understanding of business processes within Client portfolio.

  • Ability to plan and monitor an entire portfolio / project consisting of multiple endpoints.

  • Must take initiative in building a network of contacts within the Fiserv organization, interfacing with multiple IT groups and business units.

  • Self-driven individual with the ability to coach individuals and lead a process of knowledge transfer and mentoring.


  • Ability to travel (10-20% probability) across UK and EMEA.
