As a product marketer, a lot of my responsibility is around the go-to-market activities of a new or existing product. Our goal is to increase awareness of the product; make sure that we’re educating our clients about the value, why they should get it, how is it going to help their end-users. What does a great Product Manager do?

You will be to reimagine how our account processing clients will consume analytics and insights. You'll be the CEO of the product – understanding what it takes to win the market – and building a strategy that is outcome driven with strong empathy for the user of your product.

You will work closely with Product Champions (Product Owners) to determine how your competitive strategy turns into an executable roadmap for the development team. You'll also work closely with clients to understand their needs and where we can provide the most value. Working with leaders, you will align your plan to Fiserv’s strategy.

You're the kind of person who:

  • Loves being responsible for your product’s strategy.
  • Listens to your clients, understanding the opportunities to make your product better.
  • Advises in the building and prioritizing of the product while clearly articulating the product vision.
  • Digs deep into data and trends and uses that information to create and justifying business cases.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Create business cases based on that data, establishing pricing models, schedules, and guidelines on how to deliver real value.
  • Work collaboratively with development, UX and other team members to devise user journeys, map user requirements to UI features of the BI tool, build/launch/test features and continually iterate to build a winning solution
  • Develop requirements and user journeys for new interfaces, scorecards and dashboards, which drive new value for targeted personas within the financial institution (CxO’s, retail managers, etc…)
  • Improve NPS or LTR scores of existing solutions by closely working with customers, soliciting feedback and upgrading the feature sets of the UI of BI tools; adopt and roll out standard methodologies in the industry
  • Identify competitive and alternative offerings and develop a strategy for winning against the competition.
  • Establish a pricing model, schedules, guidelines and procedures and determine the most effective way to deliver a complete solution to an identified market problem. Analyze whether to buy, build, or work with vendors to complete the solution for the target market.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it affects the company operations, and ultimately, how it plays a part in profit.
  • Focus the teams' creative spirit on solving market problems by using your organization's distinctive competencies.
  • Ensure that all departments are prepared for new product releases and all items are completed to launch the product externally.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • 3+ years of experience working in the banking industry
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management required, handling products of varying levels of maturity
  • 2+ years of experience with financial performance solutions (i.e. board reporting, bank financials, bank operations analysis, branch and officer reporting
  • 2+ years of experience with customer and digital analytics (i.e customer segmentation, profitability, digital adoption, usage, migration, retention marketing automation)
  • 2+ years of experience in at least one BI reporting tools such as Cognos, PowerBI or Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience on optimized user experiences for report, dashboard and embedded UI visualizations
  • 2+ years of experience in data warehouse applications
  • Strong working knowledge of business financial practices, accounting and business case development, and ability to run a P&L preferred
  • Agile development experience preferred

Travel required: Domestic travel as needed, up to 25% of the time
