What does a great Sr. Product Analyst do?
This is a critical role supporting strategic business objectives within Fiserv.
You will be responsible for supporting the product roadmap for the data analytics and intelligence team within Fiserv Card Services. We provide analytics tools and support to internal users and external client users to enable new insights that drive better performance of the business. Our roadmap includes launching and enhancing new machine learning and data science capabilities for the firm. This role will be located in our new facility, in Union County (NJ), post COVID restrictions.
In this role, you will:
Interact with multiple business areas to gather and interpret business requirements for data analytics solutions to meet the business needs.
Write project requirements, and develop business cases to identify valuable product enhancements or new products.
Document key product features, create training documentation, and conduct user training.
Write agile stories, develop maintains the backlog of product priorities, and attend daily sprint meetings.
Identify and resolve product related issues for internal and external client users.
Create data dictionaries to help users understand data available to them for analytics.
Test new products and features to ensure they meet business needs and support product launch activities.
Develop presentation-quality graphs, charts, slides to inform others of product initiatives and status.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar discipline preferred.
2 years’ experience in data analytics and / or product management.
Experience in SQL and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Access).
Ability to travel up to 10% (post COVID restrictions).
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Experience with one or more of the following tools: Power BI, Cognos, Alteryx, Tableau.
Experience writing agile stories in jira, azure boards, version one, or similar tool.
Strength with statistical packages such as SAS, R, or Python.
Have an analytical mindset and an ability to review and interpret data quickly.
Experience building relational database
Strong ability to analyze data or reports to articulate the key drivers to business owners or leadership
Business research, business writing, and advanced presentation development skills experience.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills, strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
Confirmed ability to understand complex business and technical concepts.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
