What does a great Product Manager, Sr. Advisory do?

The Product Manager, Sr. Advisory identifies product and solution ideas based on market need and convert ideas into prototypes and demonstrate them to key partners/clients. This being a Director level position, you will develop and implement product vision and strategy, own the product success / failure, drive revenues and stay current with market / industry / competition, analyze customer feedback and identify problems worth solving.

As a Product Manager, Sr. Advisory you will:

  • Partner with key stakeholders from different business units and shape new product ideas and business requirements
  • Coordinate with delivery and solutioning teams to plan and deliver the features
  • Build GTM strategy, customer facing presentations, and partner with Marketing for building collaterals
  • Conduct sales training on product positioning, how to sell, roadmap sharing
  • Partner with sales and join sales calls as SME
  • Develop Technology Architecture (Hardware/Software) - Solution ideation, Solution design, Solution Development. Involve the right SMEs to develop a detailed solution.
  • Possess strong understanding of various Design Patterns, application frameworks, 3rd Party Products and solutions available in the field that will improve the productivity and quality of the solution.
  • Experience in architecting infrastructure solutions for complex business requirements and up to date with cloud infrastructure.
  • Analyze design of a legacy solution and provide recommended migration roadmap, estimate solution, provide design and solution for migrated solution
  • Facilitate decision-making, propose alternative solutions and help identify gaps
  • Participate in broader areas of application development, infrastructure, security, deployment, unit and integration testing.
  • Understand desired Business Outcomes desired by customer and translate these to requirements for the solution, recommend potential options
  • Own the overall solution and ensure all components of a solution fit well, function and perform as expected. (Availability/Performance/Security)
  • Assist in creation of RFIs, SOWs, and Proposals
  • Plan and execute product implementation activities, with very little guidance/supervision.
  • Provide Technology solution alternatives with ROI/TCO comparison for a solution, and provide technology alternatives for solution
  • Design Scalable solution that can meet performance benchmarks and Non-functional requirements
  • Perform assessments on solution and provide recommendations, improvement areas, prioritize issues
  • Understand concepts related to designing techniques like Class diagrams, Sequence diagrams, ERDs etc.
  • Possess good knowledge of system design principles and techniques such as OO, RUP.
  • Good understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and metrics and participates in conduct of POCs as instructed. Industry Standards, Technology solution Frameworks

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • MBA preferred. Computer science Engineering Degree along with 5+ years of experience as a product owner preferably with knowledge of Banking and Payment Products
  • Advanced understanding of business process redesign, and business analysis
  • Program management and leadership skills are essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced understanding of business process redesign, and business analysis
  • Strong background in cloud native application development and associated tools/methodologies.
  • Experience in software engineering and design including DevOps, CICD
  • Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level

Travel: This job requires travel of up to 15-30%.
