Responsibilities
As a Product Analyst, you can look forward to:
- European clearings and ISO20022 standards
Collecting, understanding, and communicating the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test analysis that can be utilized by the development teams. - Collaborating with product architects and technical architects/leads to define solutions
- Documenting the results of business analysis and obtaining sign-off from stakeholders/clients, when applicable
- Providing design direction, to development personnel, and reviewing the design and specifications for changes that affect their respective modules
- Providing the link between the client/stakeholder, development team and any third-party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle
- Designing, specifying and executing business test scenarios
- Analysis, preparation and management of product enhancements that affect their modules
- Communicating with the client’s subject matter experts and system users to identify business needs and/or resolve product issues, during clearing development, sales meetings and/or workshops
- Providing sales support sales calls, RFP responses, RFI responses, conducting and/or assisting with workshops, demos, and POCs
- Providing SME support when needed, and conducting product training for other associates
- Facilitating scoping for client/prospect payments change initiatives of varying size and complexity
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- Minimum 2-5 years of business analyst experience
- Banking Operations
- Experienced in European clearings and ISO20022 standards
- Financial clearings (wire, ACH, ISO standards)
- Financial Services industry experience; Payments experience preferred
- Familiarity with standard software development concepts, practices, and procedures regarding quality gates, and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Travel might be required to European and North America based clients as needed.
