This role can work in a Fiserv office within the U.S. (EST, CST, or MST time zones). Chicagoland area is preferred.

What does a great Director, Product Management do?

You will lead product management strategy for SnapPay, an enterprise payment application.

As a Director, Product Management, you can look forward to:

  • Collaborating with research companies, sales teams, existing and prospective customers to identify market needs/opportunities for existing and new products

  • Developing a comprehensive and compelling data driven business case/plan for new and existing products to meet market needs, including market size; pricing, 3-5 year forecasted revenue and expense, value proposition, GTM plan

  • Determining product positioning by channels / segments

  • Defining the product strategy and roadmap

  • Ensuring that product strategy is translated into well-defined requirements and products delivered meet original business goals

  • Coordinating with other product managers in broader Fiserv to align roadmap and secure interlock

  • Working with technology partners to ensure prioritization and delivery of product roadmap

  • Ensuring cross-functional readiness for new product releases and enhancements – including client services, sales, marketing, operations etc.

  • Working with product marketing, business development/Sales to drive product sales

  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, profitability etc.

  • Developing and keeping ongoing a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis for existing and new products

Has an understanding of the full product management and delivery lifecycle. You have the ability to understand complex technology and platform constraints but come up with creative solutions. You have a broad general management mindset and strong business and analytical acumen. You have the ability to work and influence in a cross functional environment. You have outstanding presentation and communication abilities. You are a self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize and get results in an ambiguous/fast paced environment.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Management

  • Financial services or payments industry experience

  • B2B software industry experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to travel 10-30%

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related analytical field

  • Payments industry experience

  • B2B Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables is highly desirable

  • EIPP, EBPP experience is desirable

  • Card, ACH, Wire transfer and other methods of B2B money movement

  • Compliance, Risk and payment industry MTL – money movement experience in the B2B space. NACHA rules exposure is highly desirable

  • Cross Border and FX experience in the B2B space will be highly desirable

  • Global multi-currency credit card acquiring gateway and processor experience is highly desirable

  • Exposure to Supply Chain Financing and lending solutions is a plus
