POSITION SUMMARY/ROLE:
The Fiserv Financial & Risk Management Solutions (FRMS) North America Payments team requires a Payments Product Manager, with ACH expertise in particular, to define its product strategy and requirements for market solutions for financial institutions in the North America region, specifically ACH software (PEP+ and Enterprise Payments: ACH) and Payments Processing Services for US Payments. The Product Manager, Director will:
• Develop, communicate, and implement the annual product plan and roadmap detailing product definition and delivery, market analysis, pricing and product development for assigned payment products
• Develop and manage the product life cycle to ensure products are marketable, profitable, and of the highest quality.
• Understand the marketplace and drive product positioning while identifying strategies to meet product objectives by involving appropriate functional areas in decision-making

This is a product management role that will be involved with prospecting and request for proposals within the payments industry. Seeking a person with a strong background with ACH and interested in an opportunity to utilize this expertise within a dynamic financial services technology environment.

Job Responsibilities:
• Establish product direction for the products, including product line extensions and target markets supported by associated business cases and related financial analysis.
• Interviewing and meeting with customers to better understand the market and market problems.
• Prioritize and validate customer needs and requests for product changes & enhancements.
• Track industry trends, product segment growth, market spend, and market share.
• Create and implement product plans and roadmaps including new products/enhancements to expand service offering, drive revenue, and increase profitability
• Oversee the product through all stages of the product’s life cycle, including the inception, elaboration, construction, transition, and support phases.
• Enable, support and train sales, client services, and professional services staff on new product functionality delivered.
• Actively participate with product development teams to define product requirements, specifications and acceptance testing criteria. Review and provide final sign-off for all requirements for any owned modules.
• Engage closely with the development teams to help with making implementation decisions and develop schedules.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure product deployment, go-to-market and quality goals are defined, achieved and maintained.
• Manage Product Advisory councils and User Group meetings including facilitating and developing content for meetings
• Communicate release status and product status with key stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate market intelligence needs for products
• Own and constantly evaluate metrics to measure product or feature effectiveness.

Job Requirements:
(Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in banking operations or financial services technology with a focus on ACH and other payments processing
• 5+ years’ experience in the product management discipline (experience with Pragmatic Marketing preferred)
• Deep knowledge of ACH and other payments products and product delivery
• Ability to innovate and “think outside the box”
• Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities
• Excellent collaboration and relationship management abilities
• Ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions
• Effective prioritization skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and team-building skills
• Superior presentation and influencing skills
• Undergraduate degree required (Business or Finance preferred)
