Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an in-house attorney to support our Biller Solutions business. The selected lawyer will work on  product development and commercialization projects within this business. Contracting with our sales partners and technology providers.

What does a great In-House Lawyer do at Fiserv?

As the selected candidate, you would draft and negotiate agreements with clients and partners; provide counsel to sales, account management, product, and technology leaders on legal and business matters; and collaborate closely with company specialists regarding intellectual property, technology, compliance, and privacy matters.

As Counsel at Fiserv, you could look forward to:

• Being a part of a collaborative legal team

• Working directly with business unit representatives to draft and negotiate client, partner, and other commercial contracts for merchant-facing businesses

• Advising the business on legal, contractual, and risk matters impacting their areas of responsibility

• Interacting with corporate specialists regarding finance, audit, tax, technology, marketing, IP, privacy, and regulatory matters

• Developing and maintaining forms of contracts and other legal documentation

What you need to have:

• JD from accredited law school

• Licensed to practice, or ability to become licensed to practice, and in good standing with no disciplinary record, in appropriate jurisdiction

• 1-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably, negotiating, drafting, and redlining contracts

What we would like for you to have:

• Credit card, payments, or banking industry experience

• Experience interacting with senior business leaders, either as in-house or outside counsel

• Exposure to financial services and technology contracts

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Travel required: Infrequent
