What does a successful Senior Product Manager for Data Products do at Fiserv?

We are leveraging our unique position as an industry leader in the end-to-end lifecycle of payment processing and our ability to capitalize on one of our most important assets – data. Driven by a series of investments in emerging areas and market adjacencies, Fiserv is a leader in defining how customers, consumers, and marketplaces leverage information to create an advantage in their business and activities.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will make an impact in data-driven transformation. You can readily move between the complex world of data, analytics and insights and will bridge towards the use of information in a business context – translating complexity into strategies, products, capabilities, and ideas that customers and partners understand.

You will lead the vision, development, launch and ongoing success of Fiserv’s new data products which are expected to be a large, high margin revenue stream for the company. 

What you will do:

• Commercialize products throughout matrixed organizations.
• Track market, consumer and industry trends and competition.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations, leadership teams and data partners to define, prioritize and maintain your roadmap.
• Assess opportunities for future strategy and roadmap or partnership and build business cases for new features and products.
• Review sprints and evaluate results to ensure on track and to address issues quickly.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on go-to-market strategy.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in product management working with data products, data analytics or related fields.
• Experience launching and scaling B2B data products in Payments, Card Networks, Ecommerce, Retail, Ad-Tech, or Banking.
• Experience managing products through key stages of ideation, development, commercialization, and implementation.
• Customer-centric mindset with experience translating the product development process.
• Strong understanding of agile practices and product delivery.

What would be great to have:

• Proficiency in data analysis and ability to use data to influence roadmap decisions.
• Experience with data analytics and BI tools (ie. SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
• Pragmatic Marketing certification.

Important information about this role:

• We’re better together. This role is fully on-site for the first 90 days. After that, it’s on-site Monday through Thursday, and you can work remotely on Fridays.
